For a non-negative integer \(m\), let \(g_m(X)\) be a quintic polynomial defined by \[ g_m(X):=X^5-10X^3-20X^2+5(20F_{2m+1}^2-3)X +40F_{2m+1}^2((-1)^mL_{2m+1}+1)-4, \] where \(F_n\) and \(L_n\) are the \(n\)-th Fibonacci and Lucas numbers, respectively. Under the assumption that \(g_m(X)\) is irreducible over \(\mathbb Q\), the author proves that the splitting field of \(g_m(X)\) over \(\mathbb Q\) is an unramified cyclic quintic extension of the imaginary quadratic field \(\mathbb Q(\sqrt{-F_{2m+1}})\) when \(m\equiv 12 \pmod {25}\). The assumption is proved to be true in [J. Number Theory 128, 2450--2458 (2008; Zbl 1173.11056)].
