      The author considers the time-periodic system \[ \begin{cases} \dot{x}=x(r_1(t)-b_1(t)x-c(t)y^m),\\ \dot{y}=y(-r_2(t)-b_2(t)y+kc(t)x y^{m-1}), \end{cases}\tag{1} \] where \(k>0\), and \(r_1,r_2,b_1,b_2\) and \(c\) are \(T\)-periodic continuous functions. For \(m=1\), equation (1) is the traditional Lotka-Volterra system. The author proves a sufficient condition for the existence of a positive periodic solution using Mawhin's coincidence degree theorem. Moreover, he gives a sufficient condition for a globally asymptotically stable periodic orbit of the system using a Lyapunov functional.
