The singularly perturbed system \[ \varepsilon \dot y=f(y,x,\varepsilon), \dot x=h(y,x,\varepsilon) \] on \(Y\times M\), where \(Y\) is a finite dimensional vector space and \(M\) is a smooth manifold, is considered. It is assumed that \(f(\phi(x),x,0)=0\) for a map \(\phi: M\to Y\) and the differential \(Df(\phi(x),x,0)\) is hyperbolic with the unstable dimension equal to \(k\). There are some smoothness and Lipschitz continuity assumptions imposed on \(f\), \(h\), and \(\phi\) guaranteeing, in particular, the existence of local flows \(\pi_0\) on \(M\) and \(\pi_\varepsilon\) on an appropriate open subset of \(Y\times M\). The main result states that an isolated invariant set \(S_0\) for \(\pi_0\) with the Conley index \(h(\pi_0,S_0)\) generates, for sufficiently small \(\varepsilon>0\), an isolated invariant set \(S_\varepsilon\) for \(\pi_\varepsilon\) having the Conley index equal to \(\Sigma^k\wedge h(\pi_0,S_0)\). Moreover, a Morse decomposition of \(S_0\) generates a decomposition of \(S_\varepsilon\) and the (co)homology index braids of the corresponding decompositions are isomorphic each to the other up to the gradation-shift by \(k\).
