Let \(f \in C (\mathbb R^n)\) and let \(S\) be a given set with an area measure \(\mu\). \(S\) is said to have the Pompeiu property if the conditions \[ \int_{\gamma S} f(y+x)\,d\mu(x)=0,\quad \forall y\in\mathbb R^n,\;\gamma\in \text{SO}(n), \] imply \(f \equiv 0\). The authors give some results of the Pompeiu problem for sets of higher codimension in Euclidean spaces and Heisenberg groups. In the last part of this paper they consider the Morera problem, i.e. the connection between the vanishing of the some family of integrals and analyticity of an integrand function.
