The authors study the unit horizontal bundles associated to Riemannian submersions. The metric properties of an arbitrary unit horizontal bundle equipped with a Riemannian metric of the Cheeger-Gromoll type are studied and the Gromov-Hausdorff convergence theory of an arbitrary unit horizontal bundle is also investigated. Finally, a collapse type result for unit horizontal bundles associated to a sequence of warped Riemannian submersions is stated.
