Let \(A, B\) be Archimedean \(l\)-algebras, and let \(U, V\) be positive linear maps from \(A\) to \(B\). The couple \((U, V)\) is called separating with respect to \(A, B\) if \(|a||b|=0\) in \(A\) implies \(|U(a)||U(b)|=0\) in \(B\), where \(|a|\) is the absolute value of \(a\). Let \(U^{\sim\sim}\) denote the bi-adjoint of \(U\), and \(A'\) and \(A'_n\) denote the vector spaces of all order-bouded and order-continuous linear forms on \(A\), respectively. If \(A\) is an \(f\)-algebra with unit element, \(B\) an \(l\)-algebra, and \((U, V)\) a separating couple with respect to \(A\) and \(B\), then the author proves that \((U^{\sim\sim}, V^{\sim\sim})\) is a separating couple with respect to the order-continuous order biduals \((A')'_n\) and \((B')'_n\) of \(A\) and \(B\), respectively, furnished with their respective Arens products.
