Functorial construction of Frobenius categories (Q1028069)

Considering exact categories \({\mathcal A}\) and \({\mathcal B}\) with an exact functor \(M:{\mathcal B}\to{\mathcal A}\), a structure of Frobenius category on \({\mathcal A}\) is constructed in which the injective-projective are the direct factors of objects \(MY\) with \(Y\) in \({\mathcal B}\). One obtains a triangulated structure on the quotient of \({\mathcal A}\) by these objects called the \(M\)-stable category associated to \({\mathcal A}\).
