Let \(X\) and \(Y\) be two Banach spaces. Let \(\nu: \Sigma \to Y\) be a countably additive vector measure defined on \(Y\) and \(1 \leq p < \infty\). Extending the results of \textit{G.\,F.\thinspace Stefansson} [Ill.\ J.\ Math.\ 45, No.\,3, 925--938 (2001; Zbl 0993.46024)], the authors study in this paper the spaces \(L_p(\nu,X,Y)\) and \(w-L_p(\nu,X,Y)\) of vector valued measurable functions \(f: \Omega \to X\) that are tensor \(p\)-integrable and weakly tensor \(p\)-integrable, respectively. The elements of \(L_p(\nu,X,Y)\) are (classes of) \(X\)-valued functions with integrals with respect to \(\nu\) that can be found in the injective tensor product \(X \check{\otimes} Y\). The authors prove some fundamental facts about these spaces, for instance, if \(X\) is an order continuous Banach lattice, then \(L_p(\nu,X,Y)\) is itself an order continuous Banach lattice with weak unit when endowed with a convenient norm that is given by the formula \[ N_p(f)= \sup \bigg\{ \bigg( \int_\Omega \|f\|^p \, d | y^*\nu| \bigg)^{1/p}: y^* \in B_{Y^*} \bigg\}, \quad f \in w-L_p(\nu,X,Y). \] They also prove a Dominated Convergence Theorem for \(L_p(\nu,X,Y)\), that the inclusion \(L_p(\nu,X,Y) \subset L_1(\nu,X,Y)\) is weakly compact, and more results on the space that are generalizations to the vector valued case of results that were known for the spaces of scalar functions \(L_p(\nu)\) and can be found in Chapter~3 by [\textit{S.\,Okada, W.\,J.\thinspace Ricker} and \textit{E.\,A.\thinspace Sánchez Pérez}, ``Optimal domain and integral extension of operators, acting in function spaces'' (Operator Theory Adv.\ Appl.\ 180; Basel:\ Birkhäuser) (2008; Zbl 1145.47027)]. Finally, in the last section of the paper, they extend the main results on vector measure duality that are known for \(L_p\)-spaces of a vector measure to the case of spaces of tensor \(p\)-integrable functions.
