The authors give a list of all four and six dimensional flat Kähler manifolds. To achieve this they use a criterion of \textit{F. E. A. Johnson} and \textit{E. G. Rees}, Math. Proc. Camb. Philos. Soc. 109, No.~1, 31--44 (1991; Zbl 0736.53058)]. It turns out that there is a six-dimensional flat Kähler manifold which is not a 3-dimensional hyperelliptic variety. They also compute the \(\mathbb R\)-cohomology and the Hodge numbers of these manifolds. As an application they classify all flat complex manifolds of dimension 3 whose holonomy groups are subgroups of \(SU(3)\). They call them Calabi--Yau manifolds. Finally, they define a family of flat Kähler manifolds which are generalizations of the oriented Hantzsche-Wendt Riemannian manifold [\textit{W. Hantzsche} and \textit{H. Wendt}, Math. Ann. 110, 593--611 (1934; Zbl 0010.18003 and JFM 60.0517.02); \textit{J. P. Rossetti} and \textit{A. Szczepański}, Rev. Mat. Iberoam. 21, No.~3, 1053--1070 (2005; Zbl 1159.53328)].
