The purpose of this paper is to compute the Kauffman bracket skein module for the product \(F\times S^1\), where \(F\) is a disk, annulus, or disk with two holes. These skein modules are shown to be free. For this, diagrams and Reidemeister moves are introduced for links in \(S\times S^1\), where \(S\) is an orientable surface (possibly with boundary). For \(D^2\times S^1\) and \((S^1\times I)\times S^1\), \textit{Józef H. Przytycki} [Kobe J. Math. 16, No. 1, 45--66 (1999; Zbl 0947.57017)] showed that the modules are freely generated by infinite sets. However, the present paper provides a new basis of the skein module of \((S^1\times I)\times S^1\). Also, the result supports the conjecture due to Przytycki that if every closed incompressible surface is boundary parallel in a \(3\)-manifold \(M\) then the Kauffman bracket skein module of \(M\) is torsion free.
