It is well known that binary collisions are regularizable but general triple collisions are nonregularizable; more precisely, triple collisions can be regularizable in some special, highly symmetrical case. The main goal of this paper is to give a detailed proof of the regularization of the simultaneous binary collisions with respect to time in the case of the collinear four-body problem.
