The authors continue previous studies on the \(d\)-fold sumset \(dAB\) of the product set \(A\cdot B\) [the first author, Math. Notes 79, No. 3, 356--365 (2006); translation from Mat. Zametki 79, No. 3, 384--395 (2006; Zbl 1129.11004), the first author and \textit{S. V. Konyagin}, Additive combinatorics. Providence, RI: American Mathematical Society (AMS) CRM Proc. Lect. Notes 43, 279--286 (2007; Zbl 1215.11020)]. It is proved that for any two subsets \(A\) and \(B\) of an arbitrary finite field \(\mathbb{F}_q\) such that \(|A||B| > q\), the identity \(10\,AB = \mathbb{F}_q\) holds (\(|\cdot|\) denotes the cardinality of sets). Under the assumption \(|A||B| \geq 2q\), this improves to \(8\,AB = \mathbb{F}_q\). Possible improvements of \(d=10\) are discussed using a theorem of \textit{D. Hart} and \textit{A. Iosevich} [Contemp. Math. 464, 129--135 (2008; Zbl 1256.11022)], see also the recent paper of \textit{D. Hart, A. Iosevich, D. Koh} and \textit{M. Rudnev} [Trans. Am. Math. Soc. 363, No. 6, 3255--3275 (2011; Zbl 1244.11013)].
