The article deals with linear integral operators \(A\) in \(L_2(\Delta)\) with the following properties: (A1) \(A\) is (quasi) completely continuous and completely positive; (A2) \(A\) is \(u_0\)-positive. The author proves that eigenvalues of an operator with these properties are positive and simple (i.e., their geometrical and algebraic multiplicity are equal to \(1\)) and presents explicit formulas for \(\lambda_{i+1} / \lambda_i\) in terms of characteristics of Fredholm kernels of \(A\). Reviewer's remark. There are some vague places in the article. So, in Theorem 1 the complete positivity of \(A\) is assumed and this assumption implies the positivity of eigenvalues of \(A\), however, in this theorem one can see \(|\lambda_i|\). Further, in Theorem 2 condition (A3) is considered, but an exact definition of this condition is absent.
