All groups considered are finite. Different authors have investigated the structure of a group under the assumption that the normalizers of the Sylow subgroups admit supplements with various properties. The paper under review is another contribution in this framework. The main results are the following: If the normalizers of the Sylow subgroups in a group \(G\) have solvable Hall supplements, then the group \(G\) is solvable (Theorem 1). If the normalizers of the Sylow \(2\)-subgroups and Sylow \(3\)-subgroups in the group \(G\) admit nilpotent Hall supplements, then the group \(G\) is solvable (Theorem 2). Previous results in this line are due to \textit{T. Li} [in Acta Math. Sin., Engl. Ser. 23, No. 3, 417-422 (2007; Zbl 1118.20023)] and \textit{W. Guo} and \textit{K. P. Shum} [in J. Appl. Algebra Discrete Struct. 3, No. 1, 1-9 (2005; Zbl 1080.20016)].
