Let \(\lambda\colon G\times G\to k^*\), where \(k\) is a field and \(G\) is an Abelian group. The authors study the properties of the graded antipode \(S\) of a \(G\)-graded \(\lambda\)-Hopf algebra \(B\). It is proved that if \(B\) is twisted commutative or twisted cocommutative, then \(S^2=\text{Id}\). By twisting the underlying algebra and coalgebra structures of \(B\), new \(G\)-graded \(\lambda\)-Hopf algebras are obtained. It is shown that \(B\) can be embedded in a usual Hopf algebra, and as an application it is obtained that \(S\) is invertible in the case where \(B\) is finite-dimensional.
