For \(\alpha > -1\), the weighted Bergman space \(A^2_\alpha( D)\) consists of the analytic functions on the unit disk \(D\) which are square-integrable with respect to the weighted area measure \(dA_\alpha (z) = (1+\alpha)(1-|z|^2)^\alpha\, dA(z)\). When \(\alpha =0\), the usual Bergman space is obtained. In the Bergman space setting, \textit{C. L. Jiang} and \textit{Y. C. Li} proved in [Sci. China, Ser. A 50, No. 5, 651--664 (2007; Zbl 1144.47023)] that the analytic Toeplitz operator \(M_{B(z)}\) is similar to \(n+1\) copies of the Bergman shift \(M_z\) if and only if \(B(z)\) is an \(n+1\)-Blaschke product. In this paper, the author shows that, in the setting of the weighted Bergman space \(A^2_{\alpha} (D)\), the multiplication operator \(M_{z^n}\) is similar to \(\bigoplus_{1}^{n} M_z\), the direct sum of \(n+1\) copies of \(M_z\).
