The celebrated Lefschetz fixed point theorem was first generalized to set-valued mappings by Eilenberg and Montgomery in 1946. In this paper, the author uses cohomological methods, following the work of \textit{M. Nakaoka}, to generalize many results of this author [Jap. J. Math., New Ser. 4, 263--298 (1978; Zbl 0404.57028)] to the setting of set-valued mappings. Furthermore, the author gives different proofs of similar Lefschetz type theorems obtained by \textit{L. Gorniewicz} [Bull. Acad. Pol. Sci., Sér. Sci. Math. Astron. Phys. 21, 983--989 (1973; Zbl 0267.55009); Fundam. Math. 88, 103--115 (1975; Zbl 0306.55007)]. In addition, the author extends Borsuk-Ulam type theorems to more general spaces and for admissible set-valued mappings, generalizing results of \textit{K. Gȩba} and \textit{L. Gorniewciz} [Bull. Pol. Acad. Sci., Math. 34, 323--328 (1986; Zbl 0613.55002)].
