A class of cellular neural networks with delay is studied. Global exponential stability of such networks is proved under the assumption that the nonlinear activate functions are Lipschitz continuous. To obtain this result, the authors use generalized Halanay inequalities, Dini's derivative and some techniques from functional analysis. Examples are considered as well.
