Let \(w\) be a weight defined on an interval \(I\subset \mathbb R\). Given \(p\in \mathbb R\setminus \{0\}\), denote by \(<w^p>_I\) the average of \(w^p\) over the interval \(I\). Extend the function \(<w^p>_I^{1/p}\) by its limits to the interval \([-\infty, +\infty]\). Let \(-\infty \leq p_2 < p_1 \leq +\infty\) and \(1\leq \delta \leq +\infty\). We write \(w\in A^{\delta}_{p_1,p_2} (I)\) if \newline \( (*) \;\;\;\;\qquad \qquad \qquad <w^{p_1}>_J^{1/p_1} \;<w^{p_2}>_J^{1/p_2} \leq \delta \;\;\;\text{for any interval} \;J \subset I\). (Note that \((*)\) is the well-known Muckenhoupt condition \(A_p\) when \(p_1 = 1\) and \(p_2 = -1/(p-1)\)). If \(w\in A^{\delta}_{p_1,p_2}\), we put \[ \xi_i = <w^{p_i}>^{1/p_i}_I, \;\;i = 1,2, \;\;\text{and} \;\;\xi = (\xi_1,\xi_2). \] The aim of the paper is to determine quantities \[ M_{\max}(\xi_i;p_1,p_2,q,\delta):= \sup_{w\in A^{\delta}_{p_1,p_2}(I)} \{<w^q>_I^{1/q}; \;<w^{p_i}>_I^{1/p_i} = \xi_i, \;i=1,2\} \] and \[ M_{\min}(\xi_i;p_1,p_2,q,\delta):= \inf_{w\in A^{\delta}_{p_1,p_2}(I)} \{<w^q>_I^{1/q}; \;<w^{p_i}>_I^{1/p_i} = \xi_i, \;i=1,2\}, \] where \(q \in [-\infty,+\infty]\). To solve this problem, the author search for the exact Bellman function of the corresponding extremal problem.
