Elementary feedback stabilization of the linear reaction-convection-diffusion equation and the wave equation (Q1037838)

This is a quite interesting introduction to the theory of systems governed by linear reaction-convection and wave equations. It also contains pretty large sections on the basics of Functional Analysis and Linear Control Systems. The rest of the book relates to topics which are quite interesting and have a great future. The main disadvantage is the almost complete lack of numerical, practical illustrations to the methods presented. In the next edition room for these could be found, e.g. by removing or shortening Chapters 2 and 3, whose topics are very popular, and there is no problem in finding them in the literature.
