New definition of locally convex L-topological vector spaces (Q1037939)

The authors give a new definition of locally convex \(L\)-topological vector spaces whichcontains the definition of locally convex I-tvs given by \textit{A.\,K.\thinspace Katsaras} [Fuzzy Sets Syst.\ 12, 143--154 (1984; Zbl 0555.46006)] as a special case, where \(I=[0,1]\) as usual. Then, this paper investigates the relationship between this new definition and the previous definition given by \textit{C.-H.\thinspace Yan} and \textit{J.-X.\thinspace Fang} in [J.~Fuzzy Math.\ 7, No.\,3, 765--772 (1999; Zbl 0936.46057)] and presents a characterization of the new locally convex \(L\)-tvs by means of a family of generalized \(L\)-fuzzy semi-norms. Finally, as applications of this characterization, the Hausdorff separation property, convergence of molecule nets and boundedness of \(L\)-fuzzy sets in locally convex \(L\)-tvs are studied.
