An isometric submanifold \(M\) of \((\bar M,g)\) is called pseudo-parallel if its second fundamental form satisfies the equation \[ (\bar R\cdot h)(X,Y,U,V)+\phi\{h((X\wedge Y)U, V)+h(U, (X\wedge Y)V)\}, \] for some \(\phi\in\mathcal{C}^\infty(M)\). For \(\phi=0\), one obtains the semi-parallel immersions. In this short note, the authors prove that a Lagrangian pseudo-parallel immersion in a complex space form \(\bar M^n(4c)\) is semi-parallel if \(n\geq 3\), thus answering in affirmative a question posed in [\textit{P. M. Chacón, G. A. Lobos}, Differ. Geom. Appl. 27, No.~1, 137--145 (2009; Zbl 1158.53057)].
