The main result of the paper: If a set \(\mathcal A\) of positive integers has upper Dirichlet density \(\limsup_{s\to1+}(s-1)\sum_{n\in\mathcal A}\frac{1}{n^s}>\frac{1}{2}\), then for every \(x\) there exist distinct \(h_1,h_2,h_3\in\mathcal A\), \(h_1,h_2,h_3>x\), such that \(h_1h_2h_3=a^2\), \(a\) is a positive integer. Corollary: The same holds for lower asymptotic density \(>\frac{1}{2}\) and lower logarithmic density \(>\frac{1}{2}\). To obtain main result the authors prove that, for every positive integer \(m\), if \(\mathcal H\subset\mathcal D= \{d:d|m\} \) and \(|\mathcal H|>|\mathcal D|/2\), then there exist \(h_1,h_2,h_3\in\mathcal H\) such that \(h_1h_2h_3=a^2\). In the final step the authors use Turán's criterion [\textit{P. Turán}, Collected papers, Vol. 1. Budapest: Akadémiai Kiadó (1990; Zbl 0703.01019), 231--250] that a given graph contains a triangle.
