The celebrated euclidean result stating that two sides of a triangle are equal if and only if their opposite angles are equal is known as \(Pons\;asinorum\). In this paper this result is generalized to 3-dimensional tetrahedra. In this setting the author considers four possible criteria to consider that two solid angles are equal. Namely, if they have the same content, the same sine, the same polar sine or if they are congruent. For each of this four possibilities an analogue of \(Pons\;asinorum\) is proved, considering the appropriate corresponding definition of opposite faces being equal: if they have the same perimeter, the same area, the same product of side lengths or if they are congruent, respectively. Moreover, in the case of orthocentric tetrahedra, the four previous possibilities are shown to be equivalent, so there is only one generalization of \(Pons\;asinorum\) to this kind of tetrahedra. The paper is well-written, interesting and self-contained.
