Let \(Q(4,q)\) be the generalized quadrangle associated with a nonsingular quadric of \(\text{PG}(4,q).\) A partial ovoid is a set of points that shares at most one point with every line of \(Q(4,q),\) and the partial ovoid is called maximal when it is not in a larger partial ovoid. For any partial ovoid \(O\) of \(Q(4,q)\) we have \(|O|\leq q^2+1\) and we say that \(O\) is an ovoid if \(|O|=q^2+1.\) Some recent research has been done to find spectra of maximal partial ovoids, by using computer resources. In this paper the authors construct a new family of maximal partial ovoids of \(Q(4,q),\) \(q\) even, of cardinality \(M=(s-1)q-2tr+3t+u\) where the following constraints apply: 1) \(2\leq s\leq q+1,\) 2) \(\frac{t+2}{2}<r\leq q/2+1,\) 3) if \(s\geq q/2,\) then \(r\geq s-q/2,\) 4) \(s-r \geq 18+48\log(q+1).\) Using such construction they prove that, for every integer \(k\) in an interval of, roughly, size \([q^2/10, 9q^2/10],\) there is a partial ovoid of size \(k\) on \(Q(4,q),\) \(q\) even.
