Although David Rosen introduced as early as 1954 an infinite family of continued fractions which generalize the nearest-integer continued fraction [see \textit{F. Schweiger}, Ergodic theory of fibred systems and metric number theory, Oxford: Clarendon Press. (1995; Zbl 0819.11027)] it is only very recently that the metrical properties of these so-called Rosen fractions have been investigated. Here, the authors introduce \(\alpha\)-Rosen fractions and study their metrical properties for special choices of \(\alpha\).
