The Clifford-Hermite wavelets were introduced and studied by \textit{F.\,Brackx} and \textit{F.\,Sommen} [J.~Fourier Anal.\ Appl.\ 6, No.\,3, 299--310 (2000; Zbl 0961.42021); see also \textit{F.\,Brackx, H.\,de Schepper, N.\,de Schepper} and \textit{F.\,Sommen}, Math.\ Methods Appl.\ Sci.\ 32, No.\,5, 606--630 (2009; Zbl 1169.30023)]. The author uses two kinds of continuous wavelet transforms generated by such wavelets to define functional calculi for systems of non-commuting bounded linear operators. It is shown how to obtain the Weyl functional calculus [\textit{R.\,F.\,V.\thinspace Anderson}, J.~Funct.\ Anal.\ 4, 240--267 (1969; Zbl 0191.13403)] as a special case of constructions involving Clifford-Hermite wavelets.
