This paper determines all solutions to the equation \(f\circ g\circ f = g\), where \(f\) and \(g\) are holomorphic functions in one variable in a neighborhood of the origin with \(f(0)=g(0)=0\) and \(f'(0)g'(0)\neq 0\). This is motivated by the following group-theoretic question, for the group \(G\) of invertible holomorphic germs near the origin in the complex plane: an \(f\in G\) is called \textit{reversible in \(G\)} if it is conjugate to its inverse, i.e., there exists a \(g\in G\) with \(g^{-1}\circ f\circ g = f^{-1}\) or equivalently \(f\circ g\circ f = g\); such a \(g\) is called a \textit{reverser} of \(f\). This paper finds all reversible \(f\in G\), and for each of these, it finds all reversers.
