The main result of this article is that a transitive partial action of a group \(G\) on a set \(X\) embeds in the natural action on the coset space \(G/G_0\) modulo the stabilizer of \(0 \in X\). This is obtained in a roundabout manner by employing a result of \textit{J. Kellendonk} and \textit{M. V. Lawson} [Int. J. Algebra Comput. 14, No. 1, 87--114 (2004; Zbl 1056.20047)] (also valid in the intransitive case). However, it is trivial to verify directly from the axioms that the map \(g\cdot 0 \to gG_0\) is an embedding. Some continuity questions are also treated.
