    Let \(X\) be a nonempty set. A generalized topology (GT) \(\mu\) on \(X\) is a subset of \(\exp X\) such that \(\emptyset \in \mu\) and every union of elements of \(\mu\) belongs to \(\mu\). A class \({\mathcal H}\subset \exp X\) is said to be a hereditary class if \(B\subset A\in {\mathcal H}\) implies \(B\in {\mathcal H}\). Let us quote the abstract of this paper: As a generalization of the construction of \(I-\tau\) where \(\tau \) is a topology and \(I\) is an ideal [cf. \textit{D. Janković} and \textit{T. R. Hamlett}, Am. Math. Mon. 97, No.~4, 295--310 (1990; Zbl 0723.54005)], and similarly of \({\mathcal H}-\mu\) where \(\mu \) is a generalized topology and \({\mathcal H}\) is a hereditary class, we introduce generalized topologies starting from two generalized topologies \(\mu \) and \(\mu'\).
