A Sidon set is a set \(A\) of nonnegative integers where any two sums \(a+a'\) with \(a,a'\in A\) are different. A is called a Sidon basis if there exists an integer \(h\geq 3\) such that \(hA\) (the set of sums of \(h\) not necessarily distinct elements of \(A\)) contains all large enough integers. Then it is shown that there exists a Sidon basis with \(h\leq 7\).
