The authors consider supersymmetric \(N=2\) solutions with a nonvanishing NS three-form. Using worldsheet results they reduce the problem to a single Monge-Ampère equation on the generalized Kähler potential \(K\), which has been recently been given a geometric interpretation by Lindström, Roček, Von Unge, and Zabzine. In particular the holomorphic function \(w\) may be regarded as the effective superpotential for a D3 brane probe. They suggest that such an approach may be useful for finding gravity duals to field theories having a nonvanishing Abelian superpotential, e.g. the Leigh-Stassler theories, and they show that a purely NS precursor of the Lunin-Maldecena dual to the \(\beta\)-deformed \(N=4\) super-Yang-Mills solution. Contents include: an Introduction; Pure spinor pairs and vacua; Dielectric pure spinors; Geometrical interpretation; \(N=2\) NS solutions from superspace; Special case: Lunin-Maldecena NS solution; and References (54 items).
