The author considers integral transformations of the form \(F(x)=\int^{\infty}_{0}G(x,y)f(y)dy\) where f is defined on [0,\(\infty]\) and G is defined on [0,\(\infty)\times [0,\infty)\). The main result is that there is no identity transformation of this type for the space of Lebesgue integrable functions.
