Let \(\tilde R\) be a direct sum of finitely many Dedekind domains (none of which is a field), let \(\bar R\) be the direct sum of finitely many fields, let f, g be two ring homomorphisms from \(\tilde R\) onto \(\bar R\) that satisfy the condition: the homomorphism \(\tilde r\to (f(\tilde r),g(\tilde r))\) of \(\tilde R\to \bar R\oplus \bar R\) is onto. Then the ring \(R=\{x\in \tilde R| f(x)=g(x)\}\) is called a Dedekind-like ring. Examples include: the integral group ring \({\mathbb{Z}}G_ n\) (n square- free), infinitely many subrings of each quadratic ring of algebraic integers, many subrings of \({\mathbb{Z}}\oplus {\mathbb{Z}}\oplus...\oplus {\mathbb{Z}}\). This paper describes all finitely generated modules over Dedekind-like rings.
