The author develops an inversion formula for an integral transform involving Neumann function \(Y_ u(ke)\). Let f(r) be a continuous function for \(r>0\). Let \(a>0\) and assume that f(r)/r\(\in L(a,\infty)\). Let F(u) be the transform of f(r) derived by \(F(u)=\int^{\infty}_{a}Y_ u(kr)f(r)dr/r\), \((k>0)\) then if \(r>a\) we have \[ f(r)=\pi \sum_{u_ r}u J_ u(ka)(kr)\cot u\pi F(u)/(\partial /\partial_ u)Y_ u(ka)+ \] \[ \pi \lim_{c\to 0}\sum_{u'_ n}u J_ u(ka)J_ u(kr)\cot u\pi F(u)e^{cu^ 2}/(\partial /\partial_ u)Y_ u(ka) \] where the summations together extend over all the zeros of \(Y_ u(ka)\) regarded as a function of u. The first series includes all real zeros \(u_ n\) and the second series includes all complex zeros \(u'_ n\). The exponential function appearing in the second series is a summability factor.
