For the integral equation \[ y(t)+\int^{t}_{0}(t-s)^{- \alpha}k(t,s,y(s))ds=f(t) \] where \(0\leq \alpha <1\) and k is Lipschitz continuous in the third variable results of De Hoog and Weiss (1974) are extended to three-, four- and five-point formulae and these are shown to be convergent of order 4-\(\alpha\), 4, and 6-\(\alpha\), respectively. The authors also discuss backward difference product integration methods. They finally display numerical results.
