The problem of long wave linear propagation into a set of parallel rotating infinite walls, is considered. The waves are produced by a flow in a semi-infinite channel enclosed between the walls. The model is constructed in order to explain certain propagation of tides, such as, for example, in East Indies and West Indies. The problem is treated by Fourier transform with respect to the horizontal variables. In the Fourier-transform plane, a pair of Wiener-Hopf equations is obtained and solved. The solution of the initial problem is then calculated by performing the inverse Fourier transform as a series expansion. The results generalize previous solutions which were given by \textit{B. A. Packham} [J. Fluid Mech. 39, 321-328 (1969; Zbl 0185.554)] in the case of an infinite domain.
