In this paper, we are concerned with the oscillatory behaviour of solutions of the following second-order differential inequalities: (1) \((r(t)y')'-q(t)(y')^{\alpha}-p(t)y^{\gamma}>0,\) and (2) \((r(t)y')'- q(t)(y')^{\alpha}-p(t)y^{\gamma}\geq 0,\) where p,q and r are real- valued continuous functions on [0,\(\infty)\) such that p(t)\(\geq 0\), \(r(t)>0\), for \(t\in [0,\infty)\) and each of \(\alpha >0\) and \(\gamma >0\) is the ratio of odd integers and with the asymptotic behaviour of solutions of (3) \((r(t)y')'-p(t)y^{\gamma}>0\) and \((r(t)y')'- p(t)y^{\gamma}\geq f(t),\) where p,r and \(\gamma\) are the same as in (1) and f is a positive real-valued continuous function on [0,\(\infty)\).
