Asymptotics of diagonal Hermite-Padé polynomials (Q1058688)

In this excellent (but rather long) paper, the author gives a thorough account of the interplay between simultaneous rational approximants (Padé approximants of ''Latin''- and ''German''-type) and his generalised orthogonality of vector polynomials (w.r.t. weight function on contours in the complex plane). It is out of the question to cite any result, even in its most abbreviated form: partial quotation does not do justice to the lines of thought presented here. The main feature is a conjecture concerning a generalisation of the classical asymptotic results of Bernstein-Szegö type for ordinary orthogonal polynomials. For the reader who wants to get acquainted with the subject and for those doing research in this field already, this paper is an important stepping stone!
