    Let \(f\) be a univalent analytic mapping of the unit disk \({\mathbb{D}}\) onto a convex domain. Form any Möbius transform \[ F(z)=[af(z)+b]/[f(z)- d]=\sum^{\infty}_{n=0}c_ nz^ n\text{ with }d\not\in f({\mathbb{D}}). \] \textit{R.R.Hall} [Bull. Lond. Math. Soc. 12, 25-28 (1980; Zbl 0434.30012)] proved that \[ | F(z)-c_ 0| \leq \pi^ 2| c_ 1| | z| /(1-| z|) \] and hence \(| c_ n| \leq A| c_ 1|\), \(n\geq 2\), where \(A\) is an absolute constant. It would be interesting to know the best value for \(A\). The author obtains several associated results. For example, if \(M(r)=\max_{| z| =r}| F(z)|,\) then there exists an \(\alpha (F)<\infty\) such that \[ \lim_{r\to 1}(1-r)M(r)=\alpha (F)=\lim_{n\to \infty}| c_ n|. \] If, in addition, F never vanishes, then he obtains the sharp inequalities \(| c_ 1| \leq (8/\pi)| c_ 0|\) and \(\alpha (F)<\pi^ 2| c_ 0|\) and the sharp upper and lower bounds for \(| F(z)/c_ 0|\). On the other hand, if \(c_ 0=0\), then \(\alpha (F)<(1/4)\pi^ 2| c_ 1|\) is sharp. Related results may be found in two articles by \textit{R. W. Barnard} and the reviewer [Complex Variables 3, 55-69 (1984; Zbl 0575.30010) and ibid. (to appear)].
