Non-rotational minimal spheres and minimizing cones (Q1059293)

We construct minimally embedded hyperspheres in the standard sphere. They relate to examples given by \textit{W. Y. Hsiang} and others [see e.g. J. Differ. Geom. 17, 337-356, 583-594 (1982; Zbl 0493.53043 and Zbl 0503.53044)] in the same way as non-homogeneous isoparametric families relate to homogeneous ones. We also foliate euclidean spaces by families of complete minimal hypersurfaces which are regular except for one absolutely minimizing cone.
