An exact solution to the problem of rotating flow of a non-Newtonian (Oldroyd-B type) fluid between rotating coaxial discs is presented. Asymptotic solutions for small and large values of Weissenberg number and numerical solutions for moderate values of this number are presented. A stability analysis shows that the flow is unstable above a critical value of this number.
