Expressing measurable functions by one-one ones (Q1060311)

The authors give a complete proof of their result concerning the possibility of expressing measurable functions with the help of one-to- one measurable functions. They have stated their theorem, with a brief indication of proof, and discussed more fully the motivation for this problem in a previous article [Lectures Notes Math. 794, 49-52 (1980; Zbl 0439.28004)].
