The paper deals with a system of two integrodifferential equations: the first one is the radiative transfer equation for specific radiation intensity in a grey approximation model, the second one is an equation of balance of internal specific energy taking into account the absorption and emission of radiation; linear non-homgeneous boundary conditions specify the radiation intensity on the boundary of the convex body. The outcoming source term in the boundary conditions is transformed in internal source term by solving a linear equation; moreover, the problem becomes source free after a suitable change of unknown functions. The properties of the solution of this problem are investigated by using the theory of semigroups of linear bounded operators and their perturbations. The solution exists and is continuously differentiable on any time interval [0,T] and is essentially bounded if the initial data are essentially bounded.
