A note on the conformal transformation in a W-recurrent space (Q1060432)

\textit{T.Adati} and \textit{S. Yamaguchi} [J. Sci. Univ. Tokyo, Booklets, pp. 8-12 (1972)] proved that a conformal transformation in a conformally recurrent space is either homothetic or the space is conformally flat. The author extends the above mentioned result for a W-recurrent space. It is shown that a conformal transformation in a W-recurrent space is either homothetic or the space is quasi-conformally flat [\textit{K. Amur} and the author, Tensor, New. Ser. 31, 194-198 (1977; Zbl 0362.53010)]. Finally, the author extends his study for a submanifold of codimension two in a Euclidean space.
