The author studies global stability for the Volterra n-species model \(x_ i=x_ i(b_ i-\sum^{n}_{j=1}a_{ij}x_ j),\) \(i=1,2,...,n\). By comparing the community matrix \((a_{ij})\) with an \(S_ w\) matrix he uses the loop graph of the system to provide some conditions for the existence of a globally stable equilibrium.
