The equation of state of plastic slip, written in incremental velocities is analized in order to prove the smoothness of the correlated mapping between the stresses and strains, as well as the correctness of the inverse problem of finding the stresses by means of strains. For this purpose the respective approximate solution is established by means of the method of Euler broken lines and the Zaidenberg-Tarski theorem concerning the asymptotic behaviour of polynomials is proved. The analysis is applicable to modified plasticity theories.
