Let \(D\subset {\mathbb{C}}\) be a domain and u a complex valued function, \(u(z)\in \Delta =\{z\in {\mathbb{C}}:\quad | z| <1\}.\) Then u is called p-harmonic if u is twice continuously differentiable and \(u_{z\bar z}+(2\bar u/(1-| u|^ 2))u_ zu_{\bar z}=0.\) If X is a Riemann domain of dimension n and \(f: X\to \Delta\), then f is p- harmonic if for every map \(g: D\to X\), \(f\circ g\) is p-harmonic. Then if X is the domain of existence for a p-harmonic function f, X is pseudoconvex - that is, for every \(\epsilon\in (0,1)\), every holomorphic embedding of \(\Delta^ n-\{z_ 1: | z_ 1| \geq 1/2\}\times \{z'\in {\mathbb{C}}^{n-1}: | z'\!_ i| \leq 1-\epsilon \}\) into X can be extended to a holomorphic embedding of \(\Delta^ n\) into X.
