Let \(\Omega\) be a bounded domain in \(R^ n\), with a smooth boundary \(\partial \Omega\). The authors use the spaces \(H^ s\), \(s=(s_ 1,s_ 2,s_ 3)\in R^ 3\) introduced by the first author [Ann. Mat. Pura Appl., IV. Ser. 119, 41-113(1979; Zbl 0468.35011)]. See also \textit{D. Huet} [C. R. Acad. Sci., Pairs, Sér. I 301, 435-438 (1985)]. The stability for coercive differential singular perturbations and the construction of the reducing operator established by the authors [Part I, Commun. Partial Differ. Equations 7, 469-535 (1982; Zbl 0501.35007) and Part II, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 88, 464-504 (1982; Zbl 0556.35002)] is extended to the class of Wiener-Hopf operators with small parameter which have the form of a column and whose symbols are rational functions of the conormal variable. To this kind of operator correspond problems of the form (1) \(A_{\epsilon}u=f\) for singularly perturbed pseudo-differential operators in a bounded domain \(\Omega\) associated with general boundary conditions, where all the symbols are rational functions of the conormal variable. For the solution u of (1), a two-sided a priori estimate of the form: \[ (2)\quad C_ 1\{\| A_{\epsilon}u\|_ F+\| u\|_{s'}\}\leq \| u\|_ s\leq C_ 2\{\| A_{\epsilon}u\|_ F+\| u\|_{s'}\} \] is proved, where F is of the type \(H^{s-\nu}(\Omega)\times \prod^{r}_{1}H^{\sigma_ j}(\partial \Omega)\), for suitable indices s', s, r, \(\sigma_ j\) in \(R^ 3\) with \(s'<s\). In C. R. Acad. Sci., Paris, Sér. I 301, 675-678 (1985)] the reviewer gives sufficients conditions under which the term \(\| u\|_{s'}\) can be removed in (2).
