An m-phase queueing system is considered that has no waiting places. The system input receives a recurrent flow of calls, and the lengths of the intervals between their arrivals are governed by the Cox distribution law. The service times in each server have an exponential distribution. A call will be lost if the server at which it arrives is occupied. Recursion formulas are obtained for the calculation of the probability of loss of calls, the probability that the system is idle, and some other characteristics of the system. The optimal positioning of the servers is also examined.
